Optimise training intensity and recovery with Olympus Labs Endur3 BCAAs. The latest intra-workout by Olympus Labs packs in a huge 7.5g of BCAAs in a 4:1:1 formula of leucine, valine and isoleucine. It doesn’t stop there though. Endur3 also contains glutamine, taurine, an electrolyte blend and tart cherry to help promote enhanced endurance and recovery for prolonged exercise.
The formula is powered by the Maximum mTOR Igniting BCAA Matrix featuring 7.5g of InstAminos™ BCAAs in a 4:1:1 ratio; delivering 5g of Leucine per dose. A high dose of Leucine is by far the most effective amino acid to stimulate protein synthesis. Do not be fooled by fancy ratios, if the Leucine content of any product is below 5g per serving you are losing out on precious gains.
You can expect to be spending more time at the gym or finishing your regular workouts sooner as this product will improve your endurance and hydration drastically. It will also act as a recovery aid and reduce delayed onset muscle soreness due to its high content of 7.5g of BCAAs and glutamine content. There are a variety of flavours to try and Olympus Labs are famous for having unique flavours that are out there and distinct from other products.

BCAA 4:1:1 Ratio
The norm is to do a 2:1:1 ratio of leucine, valine and isoleucine but Olympus Labs definitely don’t follow the crowd and are pioneers when it comes to setting the standard with supplements. BCAAs make up around 35% of the bodies muscle tissue and are severely broken down when exercising. Studies have shown leucine to be the most important of the three and the one that contains the most anabolic potential.
BCAAs are rapidly absorbed by the body as they bypass the liver. BCAAs can also have beneficial effects of decreasing exercise-induced muscle damage 24-48 hours after exercising and promoting muscle protein synthesis.
This ingredient has been gaining a lot of popularity recently as it has the potential to reduce exercise-induced muscle soreness, accelerate recovery and moderates post-exercise immunosuppression. There is a huge 480mg of tart cherry in Endur3, without the calories and sugar that comes with taking tart cherry juice.
Endur3 also contains the much-needed electrolytes that are lost through sweat during exercise. Dehydration and a loss of electrolytes during exercise can increase subjective ratings of fatigue and perceived exertion leading to an impairment in performance. Endur3 contains all the essential electrolytes, such as potassium, sodium, calcium and magnesium, to ensure you can sustain your performance and fight off feelings of fatigue helping to finish your workout at the same intensity as you started with.
Glutamine makes up 60% of human muscle tissue and is constantly used by the body for dividing cells, including leucocytes, to provide energy and optimal conditions for nucleotide biosynthesis. It is also important for maintaining optimal levels of immune function.
Engaging in constant intense training can lead to depleted levels of glutamine due to its synthesis being reduced and enhanced uptake by our liver and immune cells. Post-exercise glutamine depletion is also associated with depressing the immune system. There is a need for individuals who exercise regularly to consume a greater amount of glutamine than those who are sedentary and supplementing is a convenient way to ensure the body is replenished with glutamine to meet the demands of strenuous training.
Supplementing with glutamine can help to reduce inflammation and muscle soreness induced by prolonged exercise and provide a significant ergogenic benefit of increasing time to exhaustion due to an enhanced fluid and electrolyte uptake.
Taurine is an amino acid found in mammalian cells and acts as an osmotic regulator, antioxidant, a cell repair membrane stabiliser and regulates inflammation. The benefits it provides to resistance training include improving protein synthesis, cell hydration and metabolism. The role it plays in cell hydration is important to resistance training as it helps to increase cell volume. The expansion of the muscle cells allows greater protein synthesis and hydration, while also increasing muscle fullness.
This fascinating neurotransmitter has been used in research for pain-relief, cognitive enhancement, and anti-inflammation studies and is prized by many bodybuilders for its pre-workout abilities.
Maximum Hydration Matrix
Sessions of intense workouts often result in fluid loss which detriments your exercise performance and causes you to simply blank out at times. This dehydration often requires more than just water to get rid of and that is where ENDUR3 BCAAs Maximum Hydration Matrix comes in. It contains such minerals that are essential for your body to perform without fatigue and cramps. These electrolytes ensure, that you are able to get every last bit out of your workout routine.
Ok, with that out of the way – let’s move on! With a serving size of over 16g, one could be concerned with how do you keep the flavour in check. Well, we tried all 5 ENDUR3 flavours, and they are all solid! Our personal favourite was Snake Venom (what a crazy name) followed closely by Dragon Mist and Tropic Thunder, but frankly, you can’t go wrong with any of the ENDUR3 flavours.
Olympus Labs brought with ENDUR3 a complete Intra-Workout package. It is very hard to imagine anything that you would add to this formula. And our personal experience matches the label. You definitely feel the enhanced recovery and the ability to extend yourself that extra rep and the fact ENDUR3 tastes great doesn’t hurt! Obviously, we can’t attest to the 25% increase in Muscle Protein Synthesis (MPS), but the research behind this claim is solid. The bottom line is, that as we write this review, it is clearly a serious contender to get into our best Intra-Workout list.
